(1) The Bible: Comprised of both the Old and New Testaments, the Bible is inspired by God. The inerrant, infallible Word of God, it is the believer's authority for faith and practice. Its salvation message and principles for living are clear and accessible to all who choose to obey them. The Bible is alive, a sharp two-edged sword, able to pierce the very heart of man.

(2) The Trinity: There is only one eternal, almighty, and perfect God. He is the creator, redeemer, sustainer, and ruler of all things, and in Him exist three eternally distinct and coequal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three persons in combination comprise the character of the one true God.

(3) Jesus Christ: Is the eternal Son of God, the second person of the trinity, who took upon Himself human flesh, being born a baby by the power of the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin, Mary. He who is true God also became true Man, uniting two natures in one person forever. Christ lived a perfect, sinless life, died on the cross as the once-for-all, perfect sacrifice for our sin, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven where He now serves as our high priest, our only mediator. He will return bodily and visibly to earth, to reign as King of Kings and will judge every human being who has ever lived. Faith in Christ alone brings salvation to everyone who believes.

(4) The Holy Spirit: The eternal third person of the trinity, He is the regenerator and sanctifier of the redeemed, and He alone brings new life to those who are spiritually dead. He baptizes all believers into one Church, which is the Body of Christ. Indwelling every believer at salvation, He gives spiritual fruit and gifts, and is the abiding advocate who empowers believers for godly living and service.

(5) Creation: By a direct act of His will, God created the heavens, the earth and every living thing. Man is a special creation of God, and the only one made in His image, who was designed to bring glory to God.

(6) Adam: In the beginning, God created sinless human beings in His image, for the purpose of having fellowship with Him. But Adam, who was given a free will, sinned, bringing the curse of sin upon all mankind. Since then, every human has been born with an old sin nature, radically corrupt and estranged from God, by both that sin nature and individual choice. We as human beings are lost, separated from God, and total incapable of atoning for our own sins.

(7) Atonement for Sin: Jesus' death on the cross provided a substitutionary atonement for the sins of humanity so that all who believe on him can be redeemed, restored to right relationship with God.

(8) Salvation: Because God so loved us, He provided another way, bridging the yawning chasm that separated God and man after the fall. This salvation comes by His unmerited grace alone, through faith alone, and because of Christ alone.

(9) The Christian Church: The Body, the Bride of Christ is composed of all those who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, corporately and individually strive to worship, serve and glorify God through prayer and praise, diligent study, literal interpretation of the scriptures, sanctified living, good works, and observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. The purpose of the Church is to reflect the love of Christ, to win souls, and to make disciples, bringing the gospel to bear on every aspect of life and thought until the Lord returns.

(10) The devil/Satan: A beautiful angel created by God, He coveted the place of God and rose up to defy his place in God's order. His rebellion earned him expulsion from heaven, and now he is called the 'prince of the power of the air,' who walks the earth, seeking those whom he may devour. His goal is the destruction of the soul of every man. Hell is the eternal dwelling place for Satan and everyone who rebels against God's plan of salvation.

(11) Affliction/suffering: Under the sovereign permission of God, believers in Jesus Christ must expect suffering and affliction, both of which can be used as opportunities to see God's mighty power at work, and to choose to praise Him. God allows affliction, for the purpose of maturing the believer, producing in him the true character of Christ, as well as the fruit of patience. Scripture promises to work all things for the good of those who love Him and who have been called according to His purpose.

(12) Taking up the cross: Those who want to be followers of Christ must first deny themselves and their own interests, choosing to take up the cross to become devoted disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving Him first place in their lives.

(13) Prayer: Every believer has access to the throne of God, because of the Lord Jesus Christ, via the Holy Spirit, who also intercedes for us as we pray. In order to be effective, prayer must be made with a pure heart and right motives, fervently, and in faith, according to the will of God. Prayer changes things.

(14) Government: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulders..." The Body of Christ and believers are subject to those in authority over them and glorify God by taking their place in submission to government. On occasion, believers must obey God rather than men when the two are in direct opposition.

(15) Nations: Nations are blessed and put in power by the sovereign power of God, who influences the hearts and decisions of kings and rulers. If a nation refuses to acknowledge the sovereignty of God, it should not expect to be blessed by God, but rather should expect judgment.
